لا تتوقف براعة الشاعر رمزي حميدان في "نشوة العصيان" في استثماره لغة الجسد، بل بإضافته فعل النقش، والكتابة على الجسد نفسه، وفي هذا يزداد النص، تكثيفاً وثراءً بالدلالات العميقة، لتلازم ثيمة الحب بما هو محسوس ومجرد، وفي توق الشاعر لعناق الحب والحياة معاً والتي لا يراها إلا من خلال علاقته بالمرأة/ الحبيبة والملهمة لشيطان الشعر.
في القصيدة المعنونة (محاولة – 7 ) يخاطب الشاعر المرأة قائلاً:
منذ زمن الخطيئة / شيطان / ينتظر تحت نافذة جنونك / دعيه يدخل، / غازليه، / مارسي الحب معه / لربما في غفلة من كاهنِ الوقت / تكتبين الشعر / كما تشتهين / ويولد من رحم الرغبة فيك / قليلٌ / من نشوة العصيان". هكذا يتحرك الشاعر في بناء نصه عبر جهاز لغوي لا يركن للعادي، يبث موجاته في عدة إتجاهات، هذا الخُلق الفني الفريد، نجح الشاعر بإدخاله في مختبره الحسي والمرئي، تمظهر في النص في سلسلة أفكار حلمية وانفعالية، جريئة، دينامية، خاصة بالشاعر / الرجل ومعبرة عنه وعن وعيه الشعري.
يضم الكتاب قصائد في الشعر العربي الحديث توزعت عبر عناوين رئيسية هي 1- محاولات، 2- غيوم بانتظار الريح، 3- صور وعناوين، 4- المستنقع، 5- المنفى.
