يتأسس الخطاب الشعري عند فخري رطروط في "صنع في الجحيم" نحو أسطورة الصورة الشعرية وغرابة القص وتشعيره وتبئير المكان شعرياً والزمان معرفياً حيث ينزع الخطاب إلى نفي عالم ممتلئ بالآثام والشرور "كل آلام العالم/ كل ورود العالم/ كل أحلام العالم/ لا شيئ سيطهر روحك الآثمة" بهذا الخطاب ينفتح النص على مستويات متعددة من الحيرة واليقين والشك والوحدة الساخرة، والمفارقة الحسية التي تنم عن مستويات أدائية تعبيرية متعددة ثرية عمدت إلى تخليق المعاني في صيغ عنقودية، متحركة بحسٍ درامي يحرك مكونات القول إلى تساؤلات هدامة "... بماذا أفسر صراع الشياطيين والملائكة في رأسي؟/ كنت هناك/ سجدت/ ثم تمرَدت/ ثم نفيت إلى الأرض أبحث عن آدم المنشطر/ أنا نقطة اللحام/ التي لولاها لا تفجر الكون وقلب آدم –وتسَمونها وسوسة/ حتى وأنا أموت عابراً العوالم/ أمضي إلى الرب المنتظر (...)". هكذا يبني الشاعر "رطروط" يوتوبياه الشعرية، بين الإشتغال على الطقسية الميثولوجية وبين توكيد الزمن الأسطوري والزمن القائم ومجمل العلاقات الجدلية بين كل هذه الموجهات والأنا الشاعرة.
يضم الكتاب قصائد متنوعة تنتمي لقصيدة النثر جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: 1- كتيبة ذباب أزرق تسافر في قطار الليل، 2- خزف الحضرة، 3- أنا خطأ العالم الوحيد، 4- قبر عجري، 5- رجل الخشذ، وامرأة البنفسج، 6- العالم بنصف شارب.
