الغرض من تأليف هذا الكتاب هو تسليط الضوءعلى الولاية الإلهية والحكومة الإسلامية في زمن حضور المعصومين (ع) و في عصر غيبتهم، ولا يفوتني أن أذكر أن الحاجة الماسة لمثل هذه المباحث هو ما كان مختصاً بالحكومة الأسلامية في زمن الغيبة، لكن لما رأيت إنكار هذه الولاية من بعض أهل الفضل، رأيت لزوماً علي التعرض لأمر ولاية المعصومين أولاً، باعتبار أن التوغل والبحث في أدلة وحدود ولايتهم (ع) له الأثر البالغ في استيعاب وفهم أمر الولاية في زمن الغيبة. كيف لا ؟! وولايتهم هي أساس الحكومة الإسلامية التي عدت من مباني الإسلام وأركان الدين.
