بذلك نجد أنه من الأحرى بنا البحث عن أسباب غياب هذا الجنس عن أدبنا العربي من حيث خلفياته الفنية، والإجتماعية، والسياسية، والحضارية، مع الإستطلاع على بعض آراء الكتاب والنقاد.
ومع هذا يظل البحث عن الرواية البوليسية بشكلها التام في أدبنا العربي مستمراً، ذلك أن هذا الجنس متعلق بطبيعة المجتمعات، وطريقة تعاملها معه، وتقبله.
