"صلاة الخرطوش" مجموعة شعرية رائعة للشاعر القومي السوري الاجتماعي "رضا صعب"، نقرأ بين ثناياها إيماناً عميقاً بالقضية القومية الاجتماعية، نداء النهضة، ونداء القضية، ونداء سعادة، نداء أحرار الأمة، وأحرار العرب وأحرار العالم، يعبر عنه شاعرنا ببساطة وصفاء، فتارة يتغنى بالحب وتارة بالفدائيين والشام وفلسطين.. ففي كل صفحة يرسم نبرة أو نبضة أو نفس قومي، من مثله العليا، من عقيدة الحزب، ومن نضاله الدؤوب، يستلهم رضا صعب أبياته وأناشيده.
نسمعه يتغزل بالحبيبة، فنتصور إنها إحدى عرائسه من لحم ودم، فإذا هي سورية: "محبوبتي وبالكون محبوبات/متشابهة ومتخالفة الهيآت، لكن بشكلا ينوجد هيهات، محبوبتي أرقى من كل محبوبة/لكنها غرقى والحق مسلوبة، وقلبي أنكنو داب هالدوبه/عالسفينة قد ما دور، سورية الغرقى ببحر مواج/سفينة خلاصك شقت الأمواج".
أما عاطفة شاعرنا المتأججة البالغة حدود الهيام بهذه النهضة القومية فلنمحها مجدداً حين تعود وتتفجر وتتألق عند استقبال الأمينة الأولى زوجة سعادة، بعد خروجها من السجن، وقد مرت في فنزويلا شرقاً وغرباً، وأقيمَ لها استقبال حاشد في مركيبو - عاصمة فنزويلا الثانية، فإذا برضا صعب يخاطبها باسم القوميين، وذلك في شهر أيلول عام 1967م: "يا أخلص مؤمنة وأول أمينة/وإحدى جواهر سعادي الثمينة، تسع سنين ضليتك سجينة/وتسع معارك باسمك ربحنا، سعادة بالقلوب وبالمآقي/وبالأفكار ليل نهار باقي، سعادة بزوجتو جينا نلاقي/وجايي زوجتو تشوفو بنحنا" وليس أفضل من أن نذكر آية من آيات رضا صعب وهي آية قومية اجتماعية صاخبة إذ يقول: "ساعة ما قلب الوطن بيصير كلو جراح، أفضل صلا بينسمع من ثم خرطوشه". "صلاة الخرطوش" شعر النهضة، شعر الوطن، ينطلق من إيمان عميق بالقضية القومية الاجتماعية التي بها وحدها خلاص الأمة.
