وبالطبع جاء تفاعل تشكيلة القيادات السياسية داخل الضفة والقطاع مع الوضعية الجديدة في ظل الانتفاضة مرهوناً بتوجهاتها السياسية ورؤيتها المصلحية. وكان أن تباينت المواقف، واختلفت وتشعبت الأهداف. وسعت التشكيلات القيادية في سبيل تحقيق أهدافها، فتشابكت علاقاتها في خضم المسعى، ونجمت تقاربات وتناحرات.
