هي خواطر على الأوتار تكتبها هيام عبد المنعم رومية، حيث لم ترسم أو تكتب أو تلفظ بمثلها كلمات، جمعتها كمن يجمع أوراق الورد، وصاغتها بلطف وبمحبة لتقدمها تجربة كتابية بأبسط صورها، فيها الكثير من الكلام البسيط، تعبيراً عن عاطفة إنسانية اتجاه الإنسان والحياة، فانسلت في الكتاب عبر عنوانات متعددة، تتقارب في دلالاتها، من شؤون الإنسان وشجونه وقد حرصت فيها المؤلفة على تبيان رؤيتها الشخصية، وفلسفتها في تثبيت نص نثري وفني متقدم في خطابه من حيث الشكل والمضمون، نقرأ لها:
"وطني عطاؤك ملء الكون .. وطني أراك في أعالي القمم .. وطني ما انتصاري لولا إيماني .. ما انتصاري لولا قرآني .. ما انتصاري لولا عظيم الشأن .. وطني ما انتصاري لو لم تكن أنت .. أنت وطني، .. إذا جفّ شعري دوماً سأنهل .. من سمائك من أرضك من زهرك .. من شجرك وكيف لا أنهل منك .. أوليس عطاؤك ملء الكون ؟!".
ويضم الكتاب عشرين نصٍ نثريٍ جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "قلمي" ، "صحراء" ، "تبسم" ، "فوزية" ، "هي زهرة" ، "معجزة الحسين عليه السلام في النفوس" ، "عدو" ، "كتب لي" ، "عهد الوفا" ، "مجرم" ، (...) وعناوين أخرى.
