أنا لا أدّعي المحاججة ، بل أتكلم عن المشاعر فهذه هي فلسفتنا نحن النساء ؛ وأنتم تفهمونها فهماً جيداً مثلنا تقريباً . من المحتمل كفاية أن تسكن الروح القدمين والساقين حتى سن الثامنة أو العاشرة ، ولكن عند هذه السن ، أو بعدها بقليل ، تغادر الروح هذا المقام ، إما بحركتها الذاتية ، أو بالقوة ، بالقوة عندما يستخدم مربٍ آلات لطردها من موطن ولادتها ، ويقودها إلى الدماغ حيث تتحول بصورة عامة إلى ذاكرة وليس إلى حكم أبداً تقريباً . إنه مصير تلاميذ المدارس ظاهرياً ، إذا عمدت مربية سخيفة إلى إعداد شخص شاب ، وحشت دماغه بالمعلومات ، وأهملت قلبه وأخلاقه ، فإن روحه تطير بسرعة إلى رأسه ، وتقف على لسانه أو تثبت في عينيه ، فلا يكون التلميذ ثرثاراً مضجراً ، أو لعوباً . وهكذا فإن المرأة الشهوانية هي التي تسكن روحها في جوهرتها ولا تغادرها أبداً .
والمرأة المستهترة هي التي تسكن روحها في جوهرتها تارة ، وفي عينيها تارة أخرى .
والمرأة الرقيقة هي التي تسكن روحها في جوهرتها تارة ، وفي عينيها تارة أخرى .
والمرأة الرقيقة هي التي تسكن روحها في قلبها عادة ، وأحياناً في جوهرتها .
والمرأة الفاضلة ، هي التي روحها في رأسها تارة وفي قلبها تارة أخرى ، وليس في أي مكان آخر أبداً .
إذا قامت الروح في القلب ، فإنها تشكل الطباع الحساسة والعطوفة والحقيقية والكريمة . أما إذا غادرت القلب ، ولم تعد إليه أبداً ، فإنها ستقيم في الرأس ، وستشكّل مَن نسميهم القساة والجاحدين والخبثاء والعنيفين .
