حيدر عجمي ذلك الشعور الحساس الرقيق الشفاق الذي يعمل ويستجيب بحذر وانتباه لكل أنواع الإدراك والعاطفة فيحمل عاطفة وحنان ووجدان الإنسان بصورة متكافئة مع كل أحاسيس الناس بشكل عام، ففي نفس الشاعر صرخة تساوي كل صرخات المتألمين وليس فقط صرخة ذاته.
وهذه الصرخة المنتشرة تجعل الشاعر يكتب في جميع الإتجاهات ولكل زمان ومكان. حيدر عجمي يكتب من زمنه إلى زمن مترامي الأطراف إذ يغوص في الشعر الوجداني الفلسفي وهذا ما يقطن في معانيه وقوله عندما يجعل من شعره حافزاً لأبناء البشر في احترام بعضهم والمحافظة على حياتهم في قوله:
يا ناس كم تفقدون الناس عيشتهم / أما كفاكم بعد العيش فقدانا.
وهو صحب النفس الشعري الطويل.
وتمتاز قريحته بأربعماية بيت من الشعر في قصيدة واحدة في مأساة قانا وهي من أغرب الشعر العربي والعالمي وقد نالت الميدالية الذهبية لدى منظمة فيدوف العالمية.
ويضم هذا الكتاب بعنوان "بستان لكل إنسان" شعر موزون يعتمد بحور الشعر وعمود الشعر. كما اعتمد الشاعر بعض القصائد النثرية التي تلذ للبعض فكل يقطف ما يريد من هذا البستان. وفي الديوان بعض القصص القصيرة التي تتضمن عبرة وتربية وموعظة مفيدة للحياة.
