تَتَمَيَّزُ هَذِهِ القِصَصُ بِأَنَّها تَعْتَمِدُ المَعاييرَ العالَميَّةَ مِنْ حَيْثُ:
-التَّدَرُّجِ اللُّغَويِّ المَنْهَجيِّ في نُصوصِ القِصَصِ.
-مُراعاةِ عَدَدِ الكَلِماتِ الصَّعْبَةِ في النَّصِّ.
-اسْتِعْمالِ الكَلِماتِ البَصَرِيَّةِ وإبْرازِها باللَّوْنِ الأَسْوَدِ في النَّصِّ.
-الطِّباعَةِ بِحَجْمِ يُناسِبُ مُسْتَوى القارِئ.
-تَطابُقِ رُسوماتِ القِصَصِ مَعَ نُصوصِها.
-تَقْديمِ مَضْمونٍ مُشَوِّقٍ يَجْذِبُ القارِئَ.
-مُعالَجَةِ مَفاهيمَ تَرْبَويَّةِ ضِمْنَ مَحاوِرَ تَرْتكِزُ على نُمَوِّ الطِّفْلِ وتَطَوُّرِهِ.
كما تُشكِّلُ هَذِهِ القِصَصُ نَموذجاً مُلْهِماً لِلْقارئ في أَنْشِطَةِ التَّعْبيرِ الكِتابيّ.
تَمَّ تَطْوِيرُ سِلْسِلَةِ "سُلَّمِ القِراءَةِ: الصَّوْتيّاتِ والقِصَص" بِناءَ على العَمَلِ المَيْدانِّي لــ "مَجْموعَةِ إِقْرأ" والّذي سَعى إلى تَشْجِيعِ الأطفالِ عَلى القِراءَةِ بِاللُّغَةِ العَرَبيَّةِ بِأحْدَثِ الأساليبِ العَالَميَّة.
