يفتتح الشاعر إبراهيم معدّي عسيري مجموعته الشعرية "أطواق ناعمة" بتوطئة يستل ملفوظاتها من النسق اللغوي القرآني الذي يبدو في نبراته اللفظية تأسيساً لحلم الشاعر ويوتوبياه الشعرية "الله يصدح بالثناء كياني / وعيش لذة نعمة الإيمان / يمتاح من نور الشريعة عطره / جذلاً يعانق منهج القرآن (...)". ومن هذا المفتتح ينطلق الشاعر لتأسيس حياة النص على فكرة المقدسي وعليه تنهض قصائد المجموعة وتحمل قيمتها ومعانيها الرمزية والروحية، لتنسجم مع كونه الشعري والوجداني عبر حقولها الدلالية المقترنة بالحس الوجودي للأشياء تارةً، وبالحس التأملي تارة أخرى، فيسكن الشاعر بروحه عالم التأمل لترقى الروح بموسيقى سلالمها أمواجاً أمواجاً. في قصيدته المعنونة "شفاف الروح" نقرأ له: من عاش بالحب أغنى الحب سيرته / وأزهرت في شفافِ الروح نجواهُ / ما الحب إلا عطاءً دونما سببٍ / حتى تحنّ على الأسباب يمناه (...)". وبهذا فالشاعر عسيري بدا مشحوناً بطاقة شعرية خلاقة في شاشة الكتابة الجديدة، فلغة النص تكشف عن حمولتها الباطنية من خلال طبقاتها اللسانية الصميمة التي تداهم جميعت الحواس في انتقالات المفردة والجملة والصورة وبناءاتها المشيدة بوعي إيماني ودينامية رؤيوية خاصة بالشاعر؛ وهو ما تميز به في هذا العمل الرائد من ناحية اللغة والشكل والمضمون.
يضم الكتاب ثلاثون قصيدة تتراوح بين الشعر الموزون والمقفى (شعر التفصيلة) والشعر العامودي، وجاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "أمة الإحساس" ، "شفاف الروح" ن "أشهى أماسينا" ن "فتات الحظ" ، "ثورات الإياب" ، "صور الذهور" ، "ثورة الدستور" ، "سواقي الهوى" ، "مسك الوئام" (...) وقصائد أخرى.
