Book Description
"استمطرُ الشعر، لا يستجيب سوى الدمع/يسقي السهوب اليباب./ استقطر الدمع لا يستجيب سوى الشعر/يروي سطور الغياب" لغة من البيان والبلاغة وأسلوب متين وواضح في هذا الديوان للشاعر السوداني الشفاف والمغرم بالشعر والنساء والمدن البعيدة.
يستحوذ الحب، ويهيم العشق ويتعذب العاشق حتى حدود الموت، وتتجلى المرأة بكل صورها المحلاّة، في معظم أبيات هذا الشعر الموزون غالباً والمتفلت أحيانا أخرى:"لا يورق الحب إلا لديك/ولا يتفتح ورد/سوى في يديك!"، "عجبت لمن أنتِ أنفاسه/أيسأل المرء أنفاسه/عن هدف؟"، "كل من سار على دربك/للموت درج./هل على عاشقك المجنون/إن مات حرج؟"، "سكتّ/لأن الكلام التبس!/وفي الجوف منه الكثير الخطير/وأخشى عليكِ إذا ما انحبس!.."، "أن تصدّي، أو ترقّي/أي فرق؟/ها هو البرق برق!..".
يغرق الشاعر في أحاسيسه ووجدانه أينما ذهب، يعبر المدن في إسبانيا، يرافقه الحنين والشوق، فينساق إلى سرده الوفير والمتناغم: "في مدريد، حين انتظارك في قلق الريح/مزقتُ حبل الوريد! هناك اشتهيت وجود قربي/فعقلي يصد، وقلبي يريد!.." "قرطبة/كنت فيها أسير/وأنّى يغرّد طير أطير./وحيث تلفّتُ حولي/أجدك، كما الريح حولي!.." وفي اشبيلية: "انتظرتُ/على حدائق الذكرى انتظرتُ/ والعصافير تجدل أعشاشها/من شعاع الشموس/انتظرتُ.." وفي غرناطة "والعشق نور!/والحُسن شلال لونٍ تدفق/كلما لاح لونٌ/توارى عن الأفق لون!".
لوحات مؤثرة من اللون والضوء، وصور تعبّر عن توتر وجدان شاعر عاشق للحب والجمال بكل أطيافه، لا يفارقه الحلم، ولا تنال من صدق قلبه الأيام وإن أتعبته: "حلم يأتي/حلم يذهب/طيفك ضوء، طيفي غيهب!"، قلبي قُلّب!/يضحك يبكي، يلهو، يلعب!/يصدقُ أبداً/هو لا يكذب/مهما عانى، هو لا يكذب!/قلبي المتعب، قلبي المتعب!"
