نقدم في كتابنا هذا العمليات الحسابية التي تعلم أطفالنا كيفية ضرب عدد بآخر. وقد اعتمدنا الطرق السهلة والمسلية في آن واحد. ففي القسم الأول: نقوم بإعادة سريعة لما تعلمه التلميذ في الكتب السابقة من عمليات جمع وطرح، وما ذلك إلا توخياً للفائدة وترسيخاً لتلك العمليات في ذهنه.
في القسم الثاني: ندخل عالم الضرب بطريقة مشوقة، حيث يكتشف التلميذ من خلال الجمع كيف يضرب عدداً بعدد آخر، ثم أردفنا هذه العمليات الحسابية بتمارين تطبيقية في قالب من القصص اللطيفة والمسلية ترسخ الدروس السابقة في ذهنه.
وهكذا سرنا في طريق الضرب، فمن الجدول الأول إلى الجدول العاشر سوف يلاحظ الطالب أن كل عملية حسابية ما هي إلا تحويل عمليات الجمع إلى عمليات ضرب، وسيكتشف هذا من خلال الصور المرفقة بكل دول بالإضافة إلى شبكات الأرقام المتقاطعة التي تنمي فيه دقة الملاحظة والتمرس في الحساب الذهني. وتوخياً لتطوير التفكير السليم والتسلسل المنطقي نشرنا على عدد كبير من الصفحات بعض الأحاجي المفيدة حيث يربط الطالب الأجوبة الصحيحة بعضها ببعض ليتوصل إلى اكتشاف كلمة السر. كل ذلك بطريقة سهلة ومسلية.
ثم أنهينا الكتاب بمراجعة لكل التمارين السابقة مما يساعد الطالب على التذكر والتركيز فلا يعود من مجال لنسيان هذه العمليات الحسابية. ونحن على ثقة أن هذا الكتاب سيلقي الاستحسان من قبل الطالب والمربي على حد سواء.
