تتوسم هذه الدراسة محاولة الكشف عن قراءة أدونيس للنص الشعري حصراً وذلك بالإستعانة بالقراءة الأدونيسية ومحاولة ربطها بالطروحات النقدية المتعلقة بنظرية التلقي وبطروحات القارئ / الإستجابة مروراً بمفهوم القارئ النموذجي لدى ريفاتير، والقارئ الضمني لدى آيزر، ومفهوم اللاتحديد الذي حدده أنغاردن، وفق التوقعات التي جاء بها ياوس حين استعان بمفهوم الأفق لدى غادامير، ولا تبغي قراءتنا للقراة الأدونيسية أن تكون حبيسة للمناهج التي انطلق منها أدونيس أو التي غيبها، وإنما نسعى إلى أن يكون محور إشتغالنا ثنائية يلتقي فيها النص مع القارئ مع ممارسة إستجابتنا في أماكن عديدة لمعرفة الفجوات التي يضعها أدونيس في قراءته، أو أن تشكل خطاباً جديداً يشتغل على الخطاب الأدونيسي لا ندعي فيه الشمولية قدر إدعائنا الموضوعية، ولغرض التعريف بأدونيس قرائياً يجب التنويه أولاً إلى أن مسار القراءة الأدونيسية مليء بالإشكاليات التي واجهت الباحث وأهمها مشروعية الفصل بين أدونيس المفكر وأدونيس القارئ.
هذا إذا استبعدنا مرغمين الوجه الأكثر إشراقاً لأدونيس وهو أدونيس الشاعر، وإذا كان مجال عملنا لا يعنى بالنص الشعري لأدونيس - وهو ما يجعل المهمة أكثر يسراً - فإن أدونيس الشاعر عصي عن التغييب حتى في أشد حالات توغله في قراءة الفكر العربي، غير أنا حاولنا جهد الإمكان تخليص القراءة الأدونيسية من الحس الشعري التي يتخللها، وذلك بالإلتفاف النقدي على النصوص الأدونيسية ذاتها وتأويلها بما ينسجم وطروحات النص المقروء، إضافة إلى أن تداخل المراحل في نتاجات أدونيس هو تداخل مقصود يحاول به أن يشير إلى وحدة الرائي وهو لفظ أطلقه أدونيس على عمله النقدي حين خلع عنه صفة الناقد، وهو ما يقدم النتاج الأدونيسي على المستويين الشعري والنثري على أساس الرؤيا التي ظل أدونيس يطاردها في جميع نتاجاته.
