Book Description
أنواع كثيرة من النبات، غريبة الأشكال، متنوعة الأزهار، زاهية الألوان... تلك هي النبتات التي نزرعها-أو نشتريها-لنزين بها ركناً من أركان المنزل أو لنعلقها في ممر بين غرفة لتعطيه حياة. وقد ازداد، مؤخراً، الاهتمام بهذه النبتات، حتى غدت ضرورة ملحة، لا مجرد هواية. فمن الصعب أن نجد بيتاً يخلو من بعضها.
وليست القضية مجرد وضع الإناء والتمتع بمرآه، هناك معلومات يجب أن يطلع عليها المهتم بالزهور، لكي يعرف كيف يعامل نبتته وكيف يوفر لها متطلباتها ويرعاها... وهذا القاموس يساعده على معرفة ذلك وغيره من المعلومات العلمية، قبل أن يتمتع بتلوين هذه النماذج لأجمل النبتات المنزلية وأكثرها انتشاراً.
وقد قسمنا المعلومات حول كل نبته إلى أربعة أقسام:
أ-أصلها: وفيه شرح موجز عن حجمها وعن أزهارها وأوراقها.
ب-وصفها: وفيه شرح موجز عن حجمها وعن أزهارها وأوراقها.
ج-العناية بها: حيث يرشد القارئ إلى نوعية العوامل الطبيعية المناسبة بكل نبتة (كدرجات الحرارة والرطوبة، وأهمية النور والظل)، وإلى نوع التربة الأصلح لزراعتها، وكيفية ريها.
د-غراستها: وهنا ذكر مختصر لطريقة تنمية النبتة والحصول منها-كنبتة أم- على نبتات جديدة.
وحاولنا أن يكون القاموس علمياً بمنهجيته، طريفاً بمعلوماته ومبسطاً بأسلوبه. فلذلك سردنا الحقائق باختصار معقول، وحاولنا عرضها مبوبة بلغة بسيطة ودقيقة. وفي حال ورود بعض المصطلحات العلمية الزراعية، ذكرنا شرحاً لها بين قوسين، عند ورودها أول مرة في القاموس.
