في روايتها "سيرة الحب .. ذات غيرية" تجمع هند عبد الرزاق بين حدين: الواقعي (السير ذاتي) والمتخيل (الروائي)، تبعاً لطبيعة الأنساق التعبيرية الموظفة في هذا المتن السردي المميز، فالكاتبة تستمد مادتها الحكائية من وقائع وأحداث تتمتع بوجود واقعي في كل المجتمعات، فتدخل في صلب العلاقة الكائنة بين الرجل والمرأة، وتعالج قضية حساسة إلى حد ما، وهي وقوع المرأة المتزوجة في حب رجل آخر، وعلى هذا تقدم الرواية من خلال أبطالها نوعاً من البوح والإعتراف الذاتي الصريح. " ... التقيته على مقاعد الجامعة، كنت باحثة جادة طموحة أسعى للحصول على درجة الماجستير وكان استناداً رائعاً يعلمني كيف أفعل. كان يتحدث، مثل عشرات الأساتذة، من وراء جدار لكنه ( ... ) خلافاً لكل الأساتذة، كان يتسلل عبر جدار القلب كلما تحدث أو طلب ...". ولأن الحياة لا تسير كما يشتهي الإنسان، تفاجأ بطلة الرواية بحملها من زوجها، ولكن بعد أن اتخذت قراراً بالإنفصال عنه، وقتئذ، تتخذ حياتها مساراً آخر ... !!
هذا ما تقوله الرواية في خطاب روائي جانب التعقيد، وآثر التقنيات البسيطة، فاستخدمت تقنية الراوي العليم الذي تتوارى خلفه الكاتبة لتقول رؤيتها الروائية وإخراجها للأحداث، تساعدها لغة سردية مطعمة بماء الشعر، ما جعل النص متنوعاً بعيداً عن الرقابة. وهكذا شكلت اللغة السردية إطاراً متنوعاً حاضناً لقصة درامية في بعض محطاتها.
