هذا الكتاب بحث يهدف إلى تحقيق الفهم، وتحذير الوعي في مسألة التغييرات التشريعية، وطبيعة المعركة الدائرة اليوم في الميدان، ويهدف البحث كذلك إلى عرض القيم الفكرية، والثقافية، والأخلاقية التي استند لها الدستور والقانون اليمني للأحوال الشخصية، وعرض التحولات التي جرت على الدستور والقانون اليمني، مع ذكر الأسباب والدوافع والخطط المعلنة للمواد المرغوب تعديلها، وذكر الأساليب المقترحة في سبيل مواجهة التحولات التغريبية. وقسم البحث إلى تمهيد وخمسة مباحث على النحو التالي: المبحث الأول: القيم الفكرية، والثقافية، والأخلاقية للدستور اليمني، وقانون الأحوال الشخصية. المبحث الثاني: التحولات في صياغة مواد الدستور، والقانون اليمني للأحوال الشخصية. المبحث الثالث: الأسباب، والدوافع التي أدت إلى هذه التحولات. المبحث الرابع: القيم، والمواد المرغوب تمريرها في الدستور والقوانين اليمنية المتعلقة بالمرأة. المبحث الخامس: أساليب مقترحة في مواجهة التحولات التغييرية. وأخيراً: ملحق قانون الأحوال الشخصية بكافة تعديلاته.
