وجعل في متن الجزء الأول كتابين أولهما كتاب تزيين الممالك بمناقب سيدنا الإمام مالك للإمام العلامة جلال الدين السيوطي، وثانيهما: كتاب مناقب الإمام مالك للشيخ عيسى بن مسعود الزاواوي وجاء في آخرهما ترجمة للعلامة يحنون وتعريفاً بالمعروفة وسبب تدوينها وما يتعلق بذلك.
