"إشكالية السيدة والدولة –نموذج لبنان" موضوع دراسة للدكتورة "أحلام بيضون" من لبنان تتطرق فيه إلى واقع الحال المتمثل بحالة لبنان، على ضوء مبادئ القانون العام الداخلي، والقانون الدولي العام. تقسم الكاتبة دراستها إلى جزئين رئيسين:
"الجزء الأول": يبحث فيه السيادة اللبنانية في مواجهة الأزمة الداخلية، وذلك في فصول ثلاثة: تعالج في الفصل الأول، تأسيس الكيان اللبناني ومدى قابلية الشعب اللبناني لكي يكون دولة ذات سيادة؛ وفي الفصل الثاني: تدرس الباحثة أسباب الأزمة اللبنانية على ضوء مسؤولية الحكام، في ممارستهم للسيادة، اما الفصل الثالث فخصص لبحث الأزمة اللبنانية، وتأثيرها على السيادة وعلى الإستمرارية القانونية للدولة اللبنانية، على المستويين الداخلي والخارجي. أما "الجزء الثاني"، كرسته الباحثة لدراسة سيادة لبنان بمواجهة الأزمة الخارجية، وذلك في فصول ثلاثة: الأول، خصص لبحث الإعتداءات الإسرائيلية، وخرق السيادة اللبنانية، ومسؤولية إسرائيل عن ذلك، أما الفصل الثاني فتطرق إلى التدخلات المسلحة الأجنبية في لبنان، وعالج الفصل الثالث: التدخل المسلح للمنظمات الإقليمية والدولية.
دراسة هامة تناولت لبنان ككيان ودولة ونظام وكان من أهم ما خلصت إليه الدكتورة بيضون هو أن لبنان لم يشكل دولة حديثة كما ينبغي، إذ ليس هناك مؤسسات عامة يمكن تمييزها أشخاص الحكام وليس هناك ديمقراطية بالمعنى الغربي الحقيقي للكلمة أو شورى ومبايعة شعبية بالمعنى الإسلامي للكلمة، وهو دولة هشة وتابعة للخارج على المستوى الإقتصادي والأمين، تعيش من رساميل غير منظومة ومما يرسله أبناؤها المغتربون، في الداخل تسيطر عليها مافيات ثلاثية الأبعاد. مالية تتمثل بالمصارف، وسلطوية تتمصل بأصحاب النفوذ السياسي والإقتصادي، وإعلامية تتمثل بوسائل الإعلام التي تتبع لأصحاب النفوذ وخارجياً، هي دولة مستضعفة معتدى عليها وعرضة للتدخل الخارجي، وقد شكلت المقاومة ضد إسرائيل وانتصارها نقطة قوة هامة ومنطلقاً جديداً للشعب اللبناني وللشعوب العربية".
