إستعراض مسيرة التقريب يكشف لنا حقائق على غاية من الأهمية ومنها:
1-أن دعاة نهضة الأمة هم دعاة تقريب أيضاً، فلا تجد نهضوياً طائفياً، وإذا انزلق داعية النهضة في مطب طائفي سرعان ما يعود إلى رشده، وإلى إنتهاج طريق التقريب.
2-حين يُعرض على الساحة المشروع الإسلامي الشامل فكرياً أو عملياً فإنه يضع الأمة أمام مَثَلها الأعلى الكبير، ويعقبه تجاوز الحالة الطائفية، وتوحيد الصفوف.
3-إن قوى الهيمنة العالمية تراهن كثيراً على الطائفية لفرض سيطرتها على العالم الإسلامي، من هنا حين تبرز في الأفق ظاهرة توحيد الأمة أو ما يؤدي إلى توحيد الأمة فإنها تسارع عبر قنواتها إلى إثارة الزوبعة الطائفية.
4-إن مسيرة التقريب رغم تعثّرها ورغم ما يواجهها من عقبات هائلة بسبب التحديات الداخلية والخارجية، هي مسيرة تصاعدية، وذلك مؤشر على أن مسيرة الأمة، ورغم كل ما يواجهها، هي في حالة تكامل نحو إستعادة الهوية وإستئناف المسيرة الحضارية.
