والأحداث التي عرضت لعمان أسهمت في تشكل ديموغرافيتها السكانية، فاحتضنت مجموعات من أعراق مختلفة اوت إليها في ظروف شتى، مما أدى إلى تنوع تراث عمان تنوعاً أغنى الحياة الشعبية فيها، وشكل أوسمة رفيعة على صدرها.
