"شرح دعاء الصباح" لمؤلفه "الملا هادي السبزواري" الحكيم والعارف والفيلسوف ولد سنة 1212 في مدينة سبزوار وتوفي سنة 1289ه. من أساتذته "أقا محمد علي النجفي" و "الملا إسماعيل الأصفهاني". أما مؤلفاته فتزيد على ستة وثلاثين مؤلفاً نذكر منها منظومة الحكمة (غرر الفوائد) بالعربية و "منظومة المنطق الآلي المنتظمة" باللغة العربية كذلك ... يعد السبزواري أحد الفلاسفة الكبار خلال القرون الثلاثة الأخيرة وتركزت جهوده في اتباع نهج "المُلا صدرا" في فنون الحكمة النظرية فشرح السبزواري أفكاره ونشرها مبيّناً وجهة نظره.
وفي هذا الكتاب يتناول السبزواري دعاء الصباح الموسوم بمفتاح الفلاح ومصباح النجاح بالشرح والتحليل بهدف كشف النقاب عما أُبهم لفظه ومعناه وتبيّن مغزاه من "كلام الله الناطق الذي كلامه فوق كلام المخلوق دون كلام الخالق، عالي الأساليب، شامخ التراكيب، منطوياً في مضامينه مطالب عالية (...) فأراد أن يشرحه شرحاً يذلل صعابه ويكشف نقابه، ويوضح أغلاق لفظه ومعناه، ويبيّن أعماق قشره ومغزاه، وما تقاعد في منازل تفسير ظاهره وتنزيله، بل استشرف إلى ذروة مقام باطنه وتأويله ..."
