يقدم الدكتور "نصر الله عبد الرحمن أبو طالب" في كتابه هذا طرحاً حديثاً وبشارات جديدة هامة يبيّن فيها الدلالة القاطعة لبشارات الكتاب المقدس على الإسلام، حيث أنه يعتبر قضية إثبات حدوث ووجود التبشير البيّن برسول الله (ص) من القضايا الهامة التي تدخل في عرض أدلة الإيمان، بل إن لها أهمية خاصة في مجال الدعوة إلى غيره من دعم بعض قضايا المسلمين كإثبات أحقيتهم بفلسطين، وبوراثة الأنبياء من بعد بني إسرائيل وغيرها ..
يقسم الكاتب بحثه إلى مقدمة يليها فصول مترابطة .. ففي المقدمة تحدث عن موقع البشارات ضمن أدلة الإيمان، وعن تاريخ بني إسرائيل جاءت كتمهيد لدراسة البشارات المختلفة وفيهما، إضافة إلى التطرّق إلى قضايا أخرى كثبوت تحريف الكتب، بعد ذلك يبدأ الكاتب بعرض البشارات في الفصل الثاني من كتابه ويخصها بالحدث عن مجيء مملكة الله وتبشير الأنبياء بها، مع إثبات – مستشهداُ بنقول وشروح لكتابات كتابيت – أن مملكة الله التي بشّر بها الأنبياء ما كانت إلا دولة الإسلام ومملكته، مع الإشارة إلى أن ظهورها كان في الزمن المتوقع لمملكة الله، يلي ذلك حديث عن الأمة المختارة، والزمن المتوقع لظهورهم وظهور المصطفى، والتبشير به، ثم يعقب ذلك سرد للبشارات المتحدثة عن وراثة أرض فلسطين، والأمة الوارثة، ثم ينتقل الكاتب بعد ذلك إلى استعراض البشارات المتعلقة بأبناء إسماعيل والبشارات المتعلقة بظهور الوحي من موطن سكن إسماعيل، واستبدال بين إسرائيل بأمة هي بلا شك أمة الإسلام، وينتقل الحديث مرة أخرى إلى تلك البشارات المتعلقة برسول الله محمد (ص) وبالإسلام وببعض معالمه كالحج وغيره ... ويختتم الكتاب بعدد من الأبحاث الهامة المتعلقة بقضايا البشارات .. بما في ذلك قضية إنجيل برنابا وبشاراته ..
