Book Description
الموضوعات التي يقدمها هذا الكتاب، هي تعبير عن تجربة المؤلف في المؤسسات الإعلامية العربية التي عمل فيها بشكل مباشر، أو شارك فيها بشكل غير مباشر. وقد كتب معظمها في بغداد أثناء عمله مديراً عاماً للإعلام في وزارة الثقافة والإعلام العراقية. وعكست غالبيتها تجربته في العمل، وبعضها كتبه بمنهجية واضحة وتم نشرها في مجلات علمية محكمة. وبعض الموضوعات صاغها كمذكرة إلى دائرة الإعلام في جامعة الدول العربية 1980.
ويمكن القول أن الباب الأول الذي تناول الإعلام والدعاية في الحرب العراقية الإيرانية (1980-1988)، والحرب الأمريكية الدولية على العراق 1991، هو خلاصة تجربته في العمل، أي المعايشة اليومية لمجريات تلك الحروب، والاشتراك في العمل الإعلامي والدعائي من موقع المسؤولية سواء في الوزارة، أو في اللجان المركزية التي تم تشكيلها خلال سنوات الحرب. مثل لجنة الكتابة، ولجنة الحرب النفسية، ولجنة الأسرى.
وبمدار ما كان مسؤولاً ومنفذاً لخطط إعلامية ودعائية ضد الخصم المقابل، فإنه توخى قدراً من الموضوعية في الطرح، وعرض وجهات نظر الطرفين المتحاربين وخاصة صرفي الحرب العراقية-الإيرانية. إذ أنه أجهد نفسه في قراءة الخطب والأحاديث التي صدرت عن قيادة بلدي الصراع، وكذلك جمع التصريحات والفعاليات الإعلامية والثقافية التي نفذتها الجهات المعنية في كلا البلدين. وتابع تحركات لجان الوساطة لوقف الحرب بين العراق وإيران، وقد جون جهود هذه اللجان وكذلك جهود الأمم المتحدة لوقف الحرب وتحقيق السلام بين البلدين.
