في هذا العمل يبحث كل من السيد محمد حسن الرضوي والشيخ علي التميمي في "أصول استنباط العقائد في نظرية الإعتبار" التي تعرض لها الشيخ "محمد سند البحراني" في مبحث العقائد والأصول بنطاق واسع. لأجل ذلك ركز المؤلفان على "مسألة التحسين والتقبيح العقليين" التي تحتل مكانة خاصة في نظرية الإعتبار. فتارة تعد من المسائل الكلامية وأخرى من المسائل الأصولية وثالثة من مبادىء المسائل الأخلاقية. وبما أنها تقع في طريق معرفة فعله سبحانه من حيث "الجواز والإمتناع" عدها مؤلفا الكتاب "مسألة كلامية وتترتب عليها ثمرات أي أنها بحسب تعبيرهم "صغرى لقاعدة الملازمة بين حكمي العقل والشرع. ويعد البحث عن الموضوع من المبادىء الأحكامية التي يبحث فيها عن عوارض الأحكام الخمسة، والبحث عن الملازمة من المسائل الأصولية التي لها دورها في استنباط كثير من الأحكام العملية. وبما أن الإعتقاد بالحسن والقبح الذاتيين هو الدعامة الوحيدة أو الأهم للدعوة إلى محاسن الأخلاق أو الكف عن مساوئها، تعد من مبادىء مسائل علم الأخلاق ..." وعلى هذا يصح القول أنه لولا القول بالحسن والقبح الذاتيين لما صح البحث عن الفضائل والرذائل على نطاق واسع وفق نظرية الإعتبار.
من عناوين الكتاب نذكر: النظرية الجديدة في بيان حقيقة الإعتبار، إبن سينا اختزل المعرفة البشرية في الحكمة النظرية، إطراد الحاجة إلى الإعتبار في كل أمر تكويني غائب، الدين عام لكل المخلوقات ... الخ.
