يُعتبر هذا العمل من ضمن سلسلة المصنفات التي تضمنت تصنيفاً للإجتهادات الصادرة عن القضايا المدنية والقضايا الجزائية.
يتضمن هذا الكتاب تصنيف للإجتهادات الصادرة خلال عام (2010) وهي الإجتهادات الصادرة عن القضايا المدنية على اختلافها، بدءاً مما صدر عن مختلف غرف محكمة التمييز مروراً بما صدر عن المحاكم الأخرى من قرارات هامة.
يعتبر مؤلف الكتاب أنه لا يمكن للمشترع، مهما أوتي من بعد في النظر ومهما تحسّب لما يمكن أن يطرأ من مشاكل ومنازعات أن يضع الحلول المسبقة لما يمكن أن يطرحه القانون من عقد وتساؤلات. من هنا كان دور الفقيه وكانت مهمة القاضي: الأول يبدي آراءه العلمية شارحاً النص ...؛ والثاني يأخذ على عاتقه أمر التطبيق ووضع الحلول القانونية موضع التطبيق العملي. وكثيراً ما يأتي تكامل النص، عن طريق تعديله، ثمرة لعلم الفقيه وتطبيق القانون من قِبل القضاء.
لأجل ذلك، جاء هذا الكتاب ليبقى رجل القانون على اطلاع دائم على آراء من سبقه في معاناة النص القانوني لا سيما على ما صدر عن المحاكم من إجتهادات تصبح، مع الزمن، مناراً يسترشد بها كل طالب علم أو رجل قانون.
يقسم الكتاب إلى قسمين: القسم الأول "أصول المحاكمات الجرائية" ويضم أحد عشر فرعاً هي: 1- إختصاص وتعيين مرجع، محاكمات جزائية، دفوع شكلية، إستئناف ... الخ. أما القسم الثاني فيأتي في "العقوبات" ويضم كذلك أحد عشر فرعاً نذكر منها: ملاحقة ومسؤولية جزائية، إحتيال وما جرى مجرى الإحتيال، قتل ووفاة، مطبوعات، تزوير واستعمال مزور، جريمة السرقة ... الخ.
