"في أديم المكان" مجموعة شعرية تحتوي على سبعة عشرة قصيدة للشاعر "طلال عساف" ارتكز فيها على السخرية، لينسج منها قراءته النقدية لجوانب مختلفة من الحياة لتصل إلينا لحناً شحباً يؤكد عبثية القدر، وقلة حيلة الإنسان أمام حالات شتى. يبحث فيها شاعرنا عن "الحب؟ الذل؟ الألم؟ الندم؟ الخوف؟ والقلق؟" ليقول لنا أن الإنسان قابعاً في سجن هكذا مفاهيم لا يستطيع الذود عنها. يقول في قصيدة [هكذا نحن]: "كلانا ساخر من سجنه/ يجلس القرفصاء على ماض ينو/ يثقل القلب بالأوزان الكاذبة، الساحرة/ القابضة على كل نفس وحركة. كلانا قابض على حياته، على أنفاسها الكريهة، على سماتها القاسية، المتمردة،/ الساكنة فينا، في غياهبنا المشتتة/ الصفراء صفار خريق العمر، سرابه...".
