من الصوف غزل، الأقدمون الملابس ومنه اليوم نصنع بعض ملابسنا وإذا أردنا أن نعرف الطفل ما هو الصوف؟ فهذا الكتاب هو خير اختيار إذ من خلال مطالعة الطفل له سيتعرف على المقصود بالصوف، وعلى سبل استخدامه، وعلى المصادر التي يأخذ منها وعلى كيفية غسله وتنظيفه وحياكته، كما وسيتعرف الطفل من خلال هذا الكتاب على الحيوانات التي يمكن تحويل صوفها إلى خيوط الغزل الصالحة للنسج وليست المعلومة فقط هي ما يقدمه هذا الكتاب بل فيه أيضاً الكثير من اللوحات الزاهية و التي جاءت لترافق الشرح وبالتالي لتعبير عما يقصد ببعض المصطلحات الخاصة.
كتب الفراشة غنية بالمعرفة الموجهة إلى الأحداث. اختيرت موضوعاتها ومفرداتها وتراكيبها بعناية فائقة، وزودت برسوم رائعة.
