هذه شعبة من شعب الإيمان, جمعت من كلام الله تعالى وحديث رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم, وشذرات الصالحين رضوان الله عليهم. قال تعالى: (وقال ربكم ادعوني أستجب لكم إن الذين يستكبرون عن عبادتي سيدخلون جهنم داخرين). فالدعاء هو العبادة, لقوله عليه الصلاة والسلام: الدعاء هو العبادة, فالدعاء يرد بمعنى العبادة, ويرد بمعنى الذكر والدعاء والسؤال. كما يرد بمعنى ترك الذنوب, ويندرج تحت معنى العبادة. وقد أمرت الأمة المحمدية به تكرمة لها وتشريفاً, ومن كرامة هذه الأمة على الله تعالى أن الأمم السابقة كانت تفزع الى أنبيائها في حوائجهم, حتى تسأل الأنبياء لهم ذلك, فأعطاها الله تعالى ما أعطى الأنبياء. فما على الأمة إلا أن تسأل عبودية, وما على الله تعالى إلا أن يجيب تفضلاً منه وتكرماً.
