يعد المديح في الشعر العربي من الأغراض الرئيسية التي تشغل مكاناً بارزاً في إنتاج الشعراء منذ العصر الجاهلي إلى يومنا هذا، وإذا تتبعنا تاريخ المديح النبوي نجده بدأ في حياة النبي (ص) حينما مدحه الشعراء، ومجدوا دعوته وأخلاقه. وفي عصرنا الحاضر سار على هذا الفرض شعراء معاصرون أحبوا محمداً وآله الطيبين ومنهم سيدة فاضلة هي "أم حسين الهلالي" إبنة الخطيب والشاعر الشيخ جعفر الهلالي الذي هو علم من أعلام المنبر الحسيني في عصرنا - من هنا جاء هذا الديوان الموسوم بـ "ديوان أفراح الموالين في مدح النبي وآله الطاهرين" ليعيد وصل ما انقطع من هذا اللون الشعري الجميل في مديح النبي وآله صلوات الله عليهم أجمعين.
وفي هذا الديوان ارتكزت الشاعرة على غرضاً شعرياً قائماً بذاته وهو "مودة أهل البيت" لقوله تعالى: "قل لا أسألكم عليه أجرا إلا المودة في القرين". وهذا ما أكد عليه الشيخ عبد الأمير العبادي الذي قدم لكتاب الشاعرة بتقريظ لطيف اعتبر فيه أنه لا بد من إظهار المودة على جميع الأصعدة والسبل فرثائهم ومدحهم وحبهم والسير على نهجهم والدفاع عنهم بشتى الوسائل مودة. فالشعر إظهار حقهم مودة عظيمة سار عليها الشعراء من أصحاب أهل البيت عليهم السلام أمثال دعبل الخزاعي والكميت والحميدي وغيرهم حتى استشهد بعضهم في سبيل مدحهم. فالشعر له دجور عظيم في توعية الناس وربطهم بأهل البيت ... حتى أن الإمام الصادق عليه السلام قال: "من قال فينا بيت شعر بنى الله له بيتا في الجنة"..
من عناوين القصائد نذكر: "مولد النور"، "أصحاب الكساء"، "للنبي وآله"، "فاطمة سر الكون" ...الخ.
