ها نحن اليوم أمام منهج جديد وتجربة جديدة جاء بها المرسوم 10227 الصادر في 17 أيار 1997، وبين المرسوم السابق والمرسوم اللاحق، أو بين المنهج القديم والمنهج الجديد سبع وعشرون سنة. وقد بدأ العمل بالمنهج الجديد سنة 1998، وطبق في امتحان الشهادة المتوسطة في حزيران 2001. وفي هذا المنهج، شاء القيمون على مادة اللغة العربية (المركز التربوي للبحوث والإنماء)، في ما دعوه "توصيفاً"، أن يجعلوا الامتحان في قسمين: أولهما يشتمل على أسئلة محورها النص، وعنوانها "في الفهم والتحليل"، ولها ست وثلاثون علامة، والثاني قوامه موضوع في التعبير على صلة بموضوع النص أو مستوحى من وجوه ومحيطه، وله أربع وعشرون علامة. وإذا كنا لا نرضى كله عن هذا التوزيع ومستوى أسئلته، ولا سيما توزيع العلامة، وليس لنا إلا أن نتقبله على مضض، أملين أن يعاد النظر فيه مستقبلاً وأن يطور وفق ما نشتهي حتى يصبح نصيب اللغة (صرفاً ونحواً) وعلوم البلاغة خيراً مما هو حتى الآن.
وها نحن ندفع إلى أبنائنا التلامذة بكتابنا الجديد "الصحيح في تحليل النصوص" وهو كتاب جعلناه في قسمين: أولهما يشتمل على نماذج محللة، وعددها ثلاثة وعشرون نموذجاً، والثاني يشتمل على نماذج غير محللة، وعددها خمسة وعشرون نموذجاً، أما النصوص التي اخترنا لهذه النماذج، فقد راوحت بين النثر والشعر والأول هو الغالب، وهي نصوص حديثة ومعاصرة، راعينا في اختيارها أن تمثل أكبر عدد من أسماء الكتاب والشعراء، وأن تغطي أكبر قدر من الأنواع والموضوعات وأما الأسئلة فقد راعينا في اختيارها التنوع والشمولية أيضاً، وأردنا لها أن تغطي المنهج وكل ما يمكن أن يسأل عنه التلميذ، فراوح عددها في النموذج الواحد بين عشرة واثنى عشر سؤالاً. وقد أتبعنا أسئلة كل نموذج موضوعاً في "التعبير الكتابي"، يدور في فلك النص ويستلهم نمطه الكتابي.
