في مجموعتها الشعرية "سيدة الكتاب الأسود" تدخل نور شرف الشعر من بوابة (الذات والآخر) مما يؤشر إلى أهمية المنزلة التي يكوّنها (الآخر / الرجل) في حياة (الأنثى / الشاعرة) والذي هو في الأخير يعني (الإنسان) الذي تفتقده الأنثى وتشتاق إليه أحياناً، ولا تجد بداً من الكتابة إليه. تقول الشاعرة في "إقامة جبرية": "كلنا نبحث .. / عن ذاك الشخص الذي سنمارس عليه الديكتاتورية .. / بنقيه في قلوبنا تحت إقامة جبرية .. / ذاك الشخص الذي لا نحتاج معه لإبراز الهوية .. / يحفظُ معالمنا بلمحة فورية .. / يأخذنا لجزر غير مألوفة بداخلنا / يتقبل تضاريسنا الطبيعية .. / كلنا نبحث عن ذاك الشخص ...". ومن هنا يكتسب النص الشعري عند نور شرف أهميته لما يحيل إليه من شاعرية في البحث عن الآخر لامرأة تتوحد ذاتها بذاته، حد التماهي، ولأن هذا الآخر غير موجود أو لا وجود حقيقي له، قامت الشاعرة بتصنيعه من مادة الشعر، كتبته قصيدة وصاغت ملامحه وفق رؤية متفردة للشعر ووظيفته المتخيلة؛ وهو ما تومىء به لغتها الشعرية بما فيها من دلالات وإشارات يصبح معها النص مرآة، بعكس الحضور فيها وجه الغياب، ويحيل إشعاعات النص برمته مرة أخرى، إلى ثنائية حضور / غياب، تهدف للحصول على حالة شعرية حالمة ومبتكرة. فتقول الشاعرة : " ... فنحن لا شيء سوى قصص .. / مجرد وجهات .. لا شي الصدف .. / مجرد إحتمالات .. / لا نهاية لها كالعدد .. / علبة أحلام مغلفة بأحاديث ...".
