يعرفك هذا الكتاب على هؤلاء الذين مضوا برسالات السماء مع رسلهم وأنبيائهم أو من تابع المسيرة من بعدهم، ولقد أسماهم الله تعالى في محكم تنزيله (بالربانيون) فكانوا جميعاً يتحلون بصفات سامية ونادرة جداً تشاركوا فيها مع أنبيائهم وأهمها هذه الثلاث:
1-أنهم وأنبياؤهم انبثقوا من شجرة طيبة واحدة أصلها ثابت وفرعها في السماء.
2-أنهم وأنبياؤهم كانوا طاهرين مطهرين بالقلب والروح والجسد وهو مصادق لقوله تعالى: لا ينال عهدي الظالمين.
3-وكانت عدتهم الأوضح تجتمع في العدد اثني عشر.
وسيدنا محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ثبت هذا الأمر عندما كان يأخذ البيعة من الناس واللفظ هنا للبخاري قال عن عبادة بن الصامت قال: دعانا النبي فبايعناه على: "شهادة أن إله إلا الله وأن محمد رسول الله" وأن لا ينازع الأمر أهله.
وحدد لهم عدتهم عندما قال واللفظ هنا للبخاري أيضاً: الأئمة بعدي اثنا عشر، ومن ثم عرفهم على أولهم عندما نزلت آية: وانذر عشيرتك الأقربين، وتوالت بعدها آيات الله البينات إلى أن نزلت آية التبليغ فعرف النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم على الأئمة الأثني عشر بالعين والأسم.
وعليه، فإن هذا الكتاب يقدم لك صورة واضحة عن هؤلاء الذين كانوا لهم الفوز من الله تعالى ورسله الكرام ليمضوا شرائع وسنن الله تعالى، حيث لا يجوز أن يمضي بها أو يتولى أمرها إلا الرسل والأنبياء ومن كان في حكمهم من الربانيين الطاهرين المطهرين قلباً وروحاً وجسداً.
