جاءت هذه الدراسة حول قاضي الأندلس وخطيبها الإمام منذر بن سعيد البلوطي، واقتضت طبيعتها تقسيمها إلى مقدمة، وتمهيد، وثلاثة فصول، وخاتمة وفق ما هو مذكور في فهرس الموضوعات تفصيلاً، وملخص ذلك: أن التمهيد اشتمل على بيان موجز لحالة بلاد الأندلس في عصر القاضي منذر بن سعيد من الناحيتين السياسية والعلمية، لارتباط هذين المجالين بحياة القضاي منذر تأثراً وتأثيراً.
وتناول الفصل الأول سيرة القاضي أيام النشأة والطلب، مبرزاً التعريف بهويته من حيث: اسمه ونسبه، وتاريخ ولادته، وعقيدته، ومذهبه، وذكر تكوينه العلمي من خلال طلبه للعلم ورحلته وشيوخه ومروياته.
وتعرض الفصل الثاني إلى بيان عطاءات منذر وإنجازاته، مركزاً على مناصبه وأعماله من تدريس وغفتاء وخطابة وقضاء، ودوره في الإصلاح السياسي، ثم عرج على أشهر تلاميذه، والمؤلفات التي أثرى بها المكتبة الإسلامية، مع بيان مكانته العلمية.
وتطرق الفصل الثالث إلى صفات منذر الخلقية السامية، وانتهيت بخاتمته والثناء عليه. كما أرفق البحث بتحقيق رسالتين مخطوطتين نادرتين للقاضي منذر بالخزانة العامة بالرباط: الأولى: تتعلق بكتابه إلى بعض إخوانه فيمن أنكر عليه تحويله الرداء في الخطبة الأولى من خطب الاستسقاء. والثانية: تتعلق بنقده لوثيقة عقدها بعض أهل العلم في إسلام نصراني. وجاءت الخاتمة بياناً لأهم نتائج البحث.
