يتتبع هذا الكتاب الجاسوسية اليهودية، ثم الصهيونية والإسرائيلية، منذ أقدم العصور حتى الوقت الحاضر، مستشهداً ببعض النصوص التوراتية، وبأشخاص لعبوا أدواراً هامة في هذا النشاط التجسسي.
المؤلف غربي وبريطاني، وهو لا يخفي تعاطفه مع المخابرات الصهيونية، ويكتشف هذا التعاطف من خلال سرده لبعض الأعمال التي قامت بها أجهزة هذه المخابرات، ولتطور هذه الأجهزة، ولعرض اسماء بعض الأفراد الذين قاموا على إدارتها، فيذكر أصولهم ونشأتهم وسير حياتهم التي أوصلتهم إلى مراكز المسؤولية فيها، ثم ما قدموه لهذه الأجهزة حين تولوا إدارتها.
على أن المؤلف لم يستطع نفي أن هذه المخابرات ليست حصناً منبعاً مستعصياً على الإختراق او الإنكشاف، فاضطر إلى تسجيل بعض إخفاقاتها، وذكر ما قدمته لها مخابرات الدول الغربية، وبخاصة الولايات المتحدة وبريطانيا، من عون ودعم، بهما أمكن تحقيق القسط الأوفر من عمل أجهزة المخابرات الصهيونية. كما أشار إلى بعض الإختراقات التي إستطاعت أجهزة مخابرات عديدة أخرى، عربية بخاصة، أن تقوم بها في المجتمع الصهيوني وفي هذه المخابرات الصهيونية بالذات.
ومن هنا تنبع أهمية هذا الكتاب الذي تقدمه الدار، وترى أنه سيشغل مكاناً هاماً في معرفة العدو وأساليبه وكيفية التصدَي له فكراً وممارسة.
