هذا الإنتقال الحرفي من مستوى تعبيري إلى آخر مشحون بحمولات جمالية عميقة لا تتعمد الإبهام ولا تميل إلى الألغاز أراه يشكل الأصرة الجامعة لمعظم كتابات الشاعر.
لعلّي لا أبالغ إذا قلت إن نص حسين محمد عجيل، بما يحتوي عليه من خطاب معرفي وجمالي متميز وما يُظهره من نضج فني عال، يبشِّرُ بتغير نمط الرؤية إلى العالم وبولادة فهم متطور لطبيعة الشعر نفسها ومضموناته الدلالية ووظائفه الجمالية يكذِّب أطروحة هيغل بأن الشعر خطاب الكائن البشري الذي لم يترقُ بعدُ إلى الوعي.
