نقدم في هذا العمل بعض المفاهيم والقضايا الفلسفية التي تمثل نماذج لقضايا الوجود والمعرفة والأخلاق، التي شغل بها الفلاسفة، على امتداد تاريخ الفلسفة في الأنطولوجيا مثل: الله والتعدد والكثرة، وفي الأبستمولوجيا مثل: الإدراك، العلاقة المعرفية، والعقل كما ظهر في الواقعية الجديدة، وفي القسم الثالث الأخلاق خاصة عند هيجل وأخيراً تحليلاً نقدياً للجهود العربية في مجال دراسة المصطلح والسعى لتقديم موسوعات ومفاهيم عربية.
وهي مفاهيم وقضايا تمثل مدخل أولى للفلسفة موجه أساساً للطالب والباحث، كما يفيد منه المثقف المهموم بقضايا الإنسان، وهو محاولة لتناول القضايا الفلسفية دون تمييز بين إسهام العرب والفريقين فيها.
