كثيراً ما تتعرض المربيات داخل رياض الأطفال صعوبات متعلقة بتقسيم نتائج جهودهن وقياس مدى تحقيق الأهداف المتوخاة من كل نشاط تربوي، ولهذا فإن إدراج هذا الموضوع ضمن أعمال الدورة التدريبية التي عقدت بمدينة طنجة بالمغرب، بين الفترة الممتدة من 21 - 24 مارس 1984م، أتاح الفرصة لتدارس تقنيات التقويم التربوي والملاحظة العلمية والأساليب الكفيلة بضبط الجهود وتحسين المردودية.
أما الموضوعات التي تعرضت لها الدورة فهي: أولاً: تهيئة مربيات رياض الأطفال وإعدادهن لتجديد خبراتهن وتطوير أساليبهن في إطار ما يسمى بالتكوين المستمر، ثانياً: إطلاع المربيات على بعض النظريات العلمية وما استجد من طرق تربوية خاصة بمرحلة الطفولة المبكرة.
ثالثاً: التعرف على بعض النظريات السيكولوجية الحديثة في مجال علم نفس الطفل وتدارس إمكانية الاستفادة منها عملياً في النشاط التربوي برياض الأطفال. رابعاً: توعية المربيات بالدور التربوي لأولياء الأطفال وبأهمية بناء الجسور بين رياض الأطفال والأسر من أجل تكوين منسجم ومتكامل وإشراك المربيات في وضع خطة لإحداث وتنشيط نوادي الأمهات داخل رياض الأطفال.
خامساً: إيجاد أرضية ملائمة للقيام سواء من طرف الباحثين أو المسؤولين عن الرياض أو المربيات، بأبحاث ميدانية حول الطفل وتشجيع الدراسات العلمية حول كل ما يمس العمل التربوي والتنشئة داخل الرياض وتكوين المربيات.
