كما استعان المؤلف في إعدادها بمصادر أساسية ومراجع تاريخية ساعدته على سرد سيرة أولئك الأطهار الأبرار بأسلوب يجذب القراء من أجل تحقيق الغاية وهي الاقتراب من الله عز وجل من خلال العمال الصالحة، والبعد عن المعاصي والمنهيات، وتكوين مجتمع إسلامي فاضل مبني على الأخلاق الفاضلة التي هي أساس الدين.
ولقد اتبع في تدوينه للسير طريقة السرد ثم الإثبات، في طابع قصص فيه العرض والحوار مبيناً من خلال سرده شخصية رسله عبر مراحل حياتهم، وفترات معاناتهم وأيام بعثهم ومعجزاتهم والرسالات التي حملوا أمانة نشرها بين البشر، وفي هذه السلسلة يسرد المؤلف سيرة عشرون نبياً من أنبياء الله عز وجل وهم: محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، آدم عليه السام، إدريس عليه السلام، نوح عليه السلام، هود عليه السلام، صالح عليه السلام، إبراهيم عليه السلام، لوط عليه السلام، شعيب عليه السلام، إسماعيل عليه السلام، إسحاق عليه السلام، أيوب عليه السلام، يعقوب عليه السلام، يوسف عليه السلام، يونس عليه السلام، موسى عليه السلام، داود عليه السلام، سليمان عليه السلام، زكريا ويحي عليهما السلام، عيسى عليه السلام.
