مؤلف هذا الكتاب محب لقراءة التاريخ وسماعة من الرواة الثقات منذ نعومة أظافرة، فقد جالس كثير من الرواة المعروفين وكبار السن الثقات والمشهود لهم بالصدق والأمانة هي نقل الأحداث التاريخية بشكل عام في تلك الفترة، وكان من هواة الإطلاع على الأخبار والتحقيقات التاريخية في كتب التاريخ والصحف والمنتديات.
كما ساهم في إثراء الحراك الثقافي من خلال التأليف والمشاركات الصحفية والإلكترونية حيث قام بتأليف كتاب (رجال المواقف والمكارم) الذي تم نشره عام 1419هـ - 1998م وقد أعيدت طباعته عام 1421هـ - 2000م وله عدة مشاركات وتعقيبات صحفية.
من أبرزها المشاركات التالية:
1-صحفة من التاريخ، قبائل طئ في صحفية القبس الكويتية، الجمعة 3 شبعان 1422هـ العدد 10180.
2-تعقيب على ما نشر في مشارف الواحة بجريدة الأنباء الكويتية عن قبيلة شمر في الخميس 18 فبراير 1999م.
3-عدة مواضيع في منتديات شمر تاريخية عن شمر الخاصة.
