والملاحظة الوحيدة والأكيدة، في الحقيقة، هي أنَّ الحساسية الأدبيَّة وحالة العالم مترابطتان، وأنَّ أسلوب آدابنا الجديد ليس بالتالي حدثاً أدبيّاً صرفاً يُمكننا أن نعزله ونُعدِّل فيه حسب مشيئتنا، فالأدب يستطيع أن "يعكس" تطوُّراً قد تمَّ، كما يستطيع أن يُعدِّل مجرى التاريخ، كما يُمكن أن يكون نتيجته المنطقية...
