"رُبَّما" هي ملحمة، أسطورة أو مُجرّد قصة يرويها شخصٌ "مُختلف" في مُجتمع "قد" يرفضُ الاختلاف. ملحمة من الحرب على اختلافها وأهمّها الحرب مع الذات، وهي أيضاً ملحمة الحبّ على اختلافه.
هذه الرواية هي سلسلة من التناقضات فحتى عنوانها يُقرأ من الجهتين، فهو من اليمين: مُدنٌ لا تغلبُ يدي ومن اليسار: يدي بلغتِ النّدم.
"إنلال" هو سليلُ لكَش، إحدى أهم دُويلات المُدُن السومرّية. يروي قصة صراع عقله مع قلبه منذُ أن كبر و سرٌّ يحمله في داخله معه و منذُ أن نشأ ليجد نفسه يستخدمُ يساره لا يمينه، فحتى طالعه في كفّه اليُمنى يختلف عن كفّه اليُسرى ليتركه في دوّامة من التساؤلات والعلاقات الإنسانية وغير الإنسانية!
أسرارٌ، ألغاز، خيبات و طموحٌ بالحصول على "كلّ شيء" أو "لا شيء"… لقد أصبح قلبه سجيناً و عقلهُ السّجان … فهل سيكونُ هذا الاختلاف لعنةً تُلاحقه ليكون قُرباناً لعرش غيره؟
أم أنّ غيره سيكونون قرابين مجده؟!
وهل هناك من سيفك أسر ذلك القلب؟!
