حين ترتقي الكلمة إلى معنى وجودها، يكبر الوجود في معانيه، وحين يتناول الكاتب حدثاً معيناً، يصنع من هذا الحدث جسداً روحه الإبداع، هنا يرتبط الإبداع بالمبدع والخلق بالخالق كارتباط اللحظة بالزمن.
إنها سلسلة من الإبداعات تبحث عن وجودها في ذهن القارئ، والقارئ يبحث عن أشياء أخرى، هي منتمية إلى عالم وجودها، والوجود ينتمي إلى عالم آخر. وحين يلقى آدم حوائه، يقفز الزمن إلى عصر آخر، وإبداع آخر، ويضيع عصر الإبداع.
الشعر العربي الحديث أو المعاصر هو عملية إبداع حاول أن ينتمي إلى عصره، فغمره طوفان نوح.
إذاً هل الأصالة بكل إبداعاتها السابقة ما زالت تعيش عصر هذا الشعر؟ إنها الأزمة الحقيقية التي جعلت من القصيدة العربية أندلساً أخيرة في عصر غير متحدد الاتجاه والهدف.
أما الحداثة فهي اقتراح حضاري، ديمقراطي، يقدمه الشعر في تركيب القصيدة العربية المعاصرة وقد يكون كاتبنا في مساهمته هذه، حاول أ، يجيب على أسئلة كثيرة: ما الشعر الحديث؟ كيف بدأ؟ إلام انتهى؟ هل هو ظاهرة أم واقع؟
ربما وفق في إجابته وربما لم يوفق! ويبقى الفصل الحكم للقارئ والناقد معاً. ولا نذيع سراً إن اعترفنا أمام القارئ، بأن إصرار الكاتب على إطلاق تسمية تأملات في الشعر العربي الحديث. كان محور الاختلاف مما أدى إلى التأخير في إصدار الكتاب لعدة شهور.
وكان رأي الدار: بما أن البحث هو دراسات مقارنة في التاريخ والظواهر والتطور. فلا يجوز إطلاق مثل هذه التسمية على حدث واقع هو أنكر كونه ظاهرة فقط. ولنترك يدنا ممدودة دون تفاؤل، بإعلان عصر الحداثة.
