القصيدة عند يونس الكجك هي طعام الروح، وحده الشعر يستطيع أن يقارع بشاعة العالم ويتمرد على الظلم، هو الشاعر الآتي من عالم الفن، فوزع رسومه بين جنبات قصائده لقد احتضت رسومه الكادح في زرعه، والعاشق لأرضه، والمغترب عن وطنه، فانعكس ذلك في شعره عبر صيغ من الاحتجاج والرفض والحزن والكشف والألم العميق، هذه المعاني وردت عبر مشهدية تصويرية تجترح دلالاتها عبر لغة إيحائية فاضحة وشاخرة تحكي عبر موجاتها الإيقاعية والدلالية عن إنسان هذا العصر وتسلط القوي العظمى على مصائر الشعوب ويتشكل هذا الإرسال الذهني والصوري على المشهد الحياتي اليومي في فلسطين الجريحة "غاب عنك يا عزة طائر النورس وتاه في السفر/ وسأل عنه الموج/ وتوجع القارب عند الشاطئ وانكسر/ طوق الرعب على بابنا يفرضنا بصمود الجوع والأسر/ فالسماء الصيفية تلومن بالرماد/ فلا الشمس شمس ولا القمر قمر/ غزة يا درب الشهداء المعطرين في القلوب بالكوفية والقدر/ ارفعي رأسك عالياً(...)". إن محصلة عند الشاعر الكجك هي نتاج اندماج الذاتي بالموضوعي أو الخاص بالعام وجدلهما الأزلي وعبر سلسلة هذه العلاقات يتشكل الخطاب الشعري في فلسفة لغوية بمركباتها وعناصرها الداخلية الوجدانية والعاطفية لتشع في النص.
يضم ديوان "أصابع القمر" ما يزيد عن الـ (57) قصيدة في الشعر العربي الحديث وقصيدة النثر جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "بلا وقت"، "براثن" "تقلب صفحات غزة"، "سفر وصيف"، "بقاؤك رحيل وانقلاب"، "زورق في وادي الغروب"، "ياسر"، "رموز على شجرة الزيتون" (...) وقصائد أخرى.
