يجمع العلامة الطيب بن عبد المجيد بن كيران بين طيات هذا الكتاب شرحاً مفصلاً لنص الصلاة المشيشية التي جاء بها العلامة المغربي مولاي عبد السلام بن مشيش. وفيها يبن ما غمض من معاني هذه الصلاة، وما خف من أسرارها التي لا يعلم حقيقتها إلا الله تعالى، كما ويكشف عن الآثار العظيمة التي تكمن خلق قراءة هذه الصلاة والتي تتجلى بالفتح الرباني على القارئ، والمدد الإلهي له، وبالنصرة على جميع أعداءه. ومما لا شك فيه أن الصلاة على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من أهم ما يتقرب به العبد إلى الله ورسوله، امتثالاً لأمر الله تعالى أولاً.
وهي بلا ريب سبب للوصول إلى رضا رب العالمين، بالصلاة على جيبه ومختاره ومجتبا من خلقه، والذي لأجله خلق الخلق، ولأهمية هذه الصلاة وليتعرف العامة والخاصة على مضمونها وفوائدها عن المحقق "بسام محمد بارود" بتقحيق نصها في هذا الكتاب، وبالرجوع لعمله نجد أنه يتجلى بـ"أولاً: ضبط نص الصلاة. ثانياً: ضبط الآيات القرآنية وغراها إلى سورها، ورقمها، ثالثاً: خرج الأحاديث النبوية الشريفة، وردها إلى مظانها من كتب الحديث. رابعاً: ترجم لبعض الأعلام الورادة أسماؤهم في الكتاب، وخاصة أعلام المغرب منالعارفين والصالحين. خامساً: ونق الشواهد الشعرية وضبطها، وردها إلى أصحابها، ونسبها إلى دواوينهم المطبوعة والمحققة، سادساً: قسر بعض غريب الألفاظ الواردة في المتن بالرجوع إلى معاجم اللغة.
