بحثاً في مكنونات المسكوت عنه وامعاناً في تصدير الأسئلة الواخزة النائمة في ثنايا سلوكيات المجتمع نقاشاً وصمتاً قمت بكتابة هذا العمل ..لا أبتغي الا نوراً في ظلام وكسراً لتابوهات لم تكن إلا قيوداً أكثر مما كانت قواعد للضبط الاجتماعي .. أنا وليدة صراع الفكرتين ..أنا أنسان بين الحرية والقيد. عملتُ مع النساء في المخيمات الفلسطينية والقرى النائية في الأردن سنوات عديدة…. وقد بدأتُ بارتياد الفيس بوك لنشر أفكاري واستخدمتُ صفحتي لتحفيز النقاش حول قضايا حسّاسة، سياسيّة كانت أو اجتماعية… وقد واجهتُ ودخلتُ في نقاشات ساخنة وصراعات فكرية وأصبح لصفحتي الشخصية صدى، منه السيىء الذي يتهمني بالكفر والسعي لتدمير قيم المجتمع… ومنه الجيد الذي يدعمني ويشد على يدي. هذا الكتاب هو وليد أربعة أعوام من التدوين المستمر على الفيس بوك، وقد اخترت من منشوراتي ما يخص المرأة فقط وهو مقسم إلى ستة أقسام، أتحدث عن العذرية وغشاء البكارة، المرأة والمجتمع، الزواج والأمومة، التحرش الجنسي والاغتصاب والمرأة في الدين. أما الجزء السادس فهو عبارة عن بعض التدوينات المختارة.
