نظمها الإمام شرف الدين البوصيري رحمه الله تعالى، في مدح النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وبيان طرف من شمائله الشريفة، في قالب أدبي بديع، فطارت كل مطار، وكُتب لها القبول في الأقطار على مرِّ الأعصار، وأقبل على سماعها وروايتها أكابر الحفّاظ والأئمة، فممّن سمعها وأسمعها وأجاز بروايتها: الإمام الحافظ أبو حيّان الأندلسي، والإمام الحافظ ابن سيّد الناس، والحافظ الرحّالة ابن جابر التونسي، وغيرهم، ومن بعدهم: حافظ الوقت الزَّين العراقي، والإمام ابن الملقِّن، ومجتهد عصره السراج البُلقيني، والفيروزابادي صاحب القاموس، وإمام الحفّاظ ابن حجر العسقلاني، ورفيقه الحافظ تقي الدين الفاسي، وشيخ الإسلام زكريا الأنصاري، والإمام الشمس السخاوي، والإمام الجلال السيوطيّ، وغيرهم ممّن لا يُحصَون كثرةً من أعلام علماء الإسلام.
أمّا مَن حفظها من الأعيان فضلاً عن العامّة فأمر خارج عن الحصر، ولم تزل هذه القصيدة المباركة حتى يومنا هذا زينة مجالس الصالحين، وحلية محبّي سيّد المرسلين صلى الله عليه وسلم.
