تهدف هذه السلسلة من القصص - التربية النفسية، إلى ثلاث نقاط أساسية هي : 1) توعيه الطفل نفسياً واجتماعياً من خلال القصة، بمساعدة الأهل أو المربي في الصف، أو حتى المرشد الاجتماعي والمرشد النفسي في المدارس والمؤسسات التي تعنى بشؤون الطفل. 2) مساعدة المجتمع العربي للتربية الصالحة والتوعية حول بعض الأفكار التي يمكن أن يعلمها الأهل بطريقة خاطئة لأطفالهم. 3) تشجيع الطفل العربي على القراءة القصص العربية أو استماع سرد القصص من أهله أو معلميه في المدرسة. وفي خلال القراءة، يمكن للطفل أن يتعلم كلمات ومرادفات جديدة. أين وكيف نستعمل هذا الكتاب؟ في البيت : يمكن للأب أو الأم أن يقوما بقراءة هذه السلسلة في غرفة الجلوس مع طفلهما أو غرفة نوم الطفل، كقصة ما قبل النوم. في المدرسة / يستعمل المربي الكتاب هذا بشكل جماعي، إذ يحمل كل تلميذ قصته ويقرأ لهم المربي النص ويساعدونه طبعاً في القراءة. من المستحسن أن تكون الحصة في مكتبة المدرسة إذا يجلس التلاميذة دائرياً ويستمعون إلى تفسيرات المربى. في عيادة الإرشاد النفسي / الاجتماعي : عبر لعبة، يستعمل الاختصاصي النفساني أو المرشد الاجتماعي هذا الكتاب مفسراً للطفل كل كلمة وكل صورة.
