كانت حياة المسيح مكرسة لتعميم هذه البشرى وغرس ذلك الأمل واصطدام المسيح بعنصرية اليهود وتكبرهم وعنادهم لذلك جاء الإنجيل مليء بالمحاورات والمجادلات التي تؤكد لليهود ما كتب عن محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم سابقاً وتذكر لهم صفات جديدة وعلامات تشير إلى نبي آخر الزمان الذي سيأتي بالشريعة النهائية الكاملة لكل الأمم والشعوب, لم يكن محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم بحاجة إلى شهادة المسيح وتلاميذه فقد أسس ملكوت السماوات عنوة بالجهاد المرير ضد الوثنيين وحلفائهم من اليهود ولكن المسيحيين بحاجة إلى شهادة المسيح لمعرفة محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم وتنفيذ وصية معلمهم باتباعه والانضمام إلى قافلة الإيمان التي يقودها الصادق الأمين صاحب الإنجيل الأبدي, جاء محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ليحقق حلمين داعبا خيال البشرية لمدة طويلة, أولهما معرفة الخير والشر وذلك بتباع الخير واجتناب الشر, لقد وضع محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم حدودا واضحة لكل من الخير والشر والحلال والحرام بحيث يميز الإنسان بينهما بسهولة ودون أن يختلط عليه الأمر. ثانيهما الوعد بالخلود الأبدي في جنات النعيم جزاء للأعمال الصالحة التي يقوم بها الإنسان خلال حياته. ولكي يتعرف القارئ على ما كتب القديس يوحنا عن مجادلات اليهود مع المسيح وبشارته لتلاميذه قمنا بتقسيم الكتاب إلى قسمين القسم الأول موجز بسيط عن حياة محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم وتضمنه البداية في مكة, اعتدت وخيانات, العودة إلى مكة. والقسم الثاني تفسير فقرات الإنجيل حسب كتاب العهد القديم وكتب الأنبياء وتضمن البدايات, كهنوت المسيح, المعراج, مكة المكرمة بدلا من القدس, الإنسان خليفة الله على الأرض, الخبز النازل من السماء, له القيادة والحكم والقضاء, الحكم على المسيح بالموت, المسيح يعلن عن انتهاء مهمته, الطريق إلى الحياة الأبدية, اعترافات المسيح, رواية جديدة, يهوذا الإسخريوطي على الصليب, قبر فارغ وجثة مفقودة, لماذا قتل اليهود أنبياءهم.
