يذكر أن "سنورا إدا" تركت أثرا في الشعر الآيسلندي القديم والحديث واليوم تشكل بعض قصصها الأسطورية أول ما يقرر من نصوص المطالعة على طلاب الجامعة الدارسين للغة الآيسلندية القديمة أما في آيسلندا فتقرر قراءة هذه الأساطير في المدارس الابتدائية.
